  I don't generally write long detailed reviews, but I made an exception for this oddity.
  
  First off, Liz, our waitress was great and very sweet.
  
  I had the French cut pork chop. I wasn't given an option to how I wanted it cooked. It came out well done. It was a pretty thick piece, which should have been cooked medium to medium well.
  Their "vegetable of the day, aka the only "vegetable" they had was creamed corn. They didn't even have broccoli. Nope. Just creamed corn. And when it came out, they had run out of creamed corn, so it was just plain, unseasoned, yellow corn. The other side I ordered was garlic seasoned red potatoes. When that came out, it was bacon mashed potatoes.
  
  Although they try hard to be elegant, they fall quite short. Seriously, who puts a mint leave in water glasses? That isn't fancy, it's just annoying that I have to pick it out.
  
  Make sure you make reservations and specifically say you would like a table outside (if that is your preference.) it's the only way you see the river. There are about 6 tables on their porch, and they don't mention them on the phone. There was a table open when we got there and we asked to sit outside. They said it was taken, but no one say there until an hour and a half into our dinner when we were checking out. Otherwise you are just sitting in an old house eating okay food for too much money. Obviously I will never go back.

  Come to the area every year and discovered this great little place last year. Delicious dinner, beautiful calm outside dining with the Yough as a beautiful background ambiance. Anne Marie Is as charming as the restaurant itself. Recommend to anyone!
